Pittsburgh Sports Performance and Fitness Training

Learn how our training process works, how to begin, and how to maximize your experience for exceptional results

Congrats on making it this far.

You obviously are serious about taking steps forward towards a new you, towards achieving a new level of success in your life.

So let’s take a look at how our fitness and sports performance training process works.

First,

Each athlete completes a comprehensive fitness and performance evaluation, including an introductory warm-up sequence and cool down/stretching sequence.  At this time, each athlete will also complete a brief membership application, health history questionnaire, and self assessment/goal setting form.  The athlete is then presented with our introductory special offers.

 

Second,

The athlete will arrive at the training center for his/her first scheduled training session. The athlete will be introduced to the workout program (designed by one of our expert performance coaches and given his/her own folder with a customized workout for that day.  Each workout is designed to be progressed towards the athlete’s goal(s).

 The workout begins with another warm-up sequence before the athlete will be instructed on proper technique for each prescribed exercise and taught how to read the workout and understand what is expected during his/her workout. 

The workout concludes with a cool down/stretching sequence.  Before leaving, the athlete will be scheduled for the next few training sessions, and a demonstration will be given of how to use the online membership system to schedule and check progress, make payments, or view remaining sessions in the athlete’s package.

 

Third,

In order to take full advantage of the membership, we suggest checking out our FREE Resources , keeping current with our blog articles, and subscribing to our training and fitness newsletter.  Additionally, it is important to train consistently.  Each athlete will work out a schedule after discussing training goals, time of season, and available time for training.  It is important to commit to this schedule in order to maximize training results.

And, that’s it.  It really is that simple. All you need to do is get evaluated, choose a package, schedule your sessions, and train hard towards your goals.
