Why is an evaluation important?
Human performance and fitness is optimal when the body is in balance and it is functionally sound.  People who
do not address functional limitations or imbalances will never reach their full potential, have an increased risk of
injury, and are more likely to reach a training plateau before achieving their desired results.  At a serious sports
performance training center, the athlete should begin with a series of movement screens, (some are only offered
to professional athletes), that will measure your movement abilities, movement patterns, as well as evaluate for
any mechanical imbalances (mobility, flexibility, and stability).  According to the results, the athlete will be given a
specific routine of corrective exercises to repair any imbalances and restore his/her body’s natural functional
balance.

In the future, we will update this content to include specific details about the various testing methods currently
being used for high level sports performance training.
